Two days Seminar: Basics of Oral Implantology.
This course is designed for the general dentist who either is new to the surgical and restorative aspects of implant dentistry or has little experience in this field.
The Linkow Institute is offering a basic induction course in root form implants. The course includes two parts: a theoretical and a hands-on session and will cover the entire protocol of the root form implants.

Course highlights: Day 1. Theoretical part History of dental implants. The rationale for the dental implants. Treatment planning alternatives. Step by step implant placement procedure. Clinical Presentation Doctors are encouraged to bring their own cases for discussion. Day2. Practical part (hands-on) Preparing the implant site on the mannequin jaw. Placing the implant. Placing the abutment. Taking the impression, with or without analog. Fabricating the temporary restoration. Doctors are to keep the models to use them in their offices for implant marketing purposes. Questions. Following completion of the curriculum, participants will have the knowledge to: Analyze implant cases utilizing organized methods of planning. Effectively make case presentations. Do comprehensive treatment planning. Master easy to use prosthetic procedures. Place and restore simple implant cases. 14 CE credits will be awarded upon course completion
